It’s the holidays! For once, there’s no homework/assignments/studying to do - completely work-free and relaxing. It’s been good so far. I went to my cousin’s place on Sunday night for her birthday celebration and stayed overnight with another cousin. Yesterday we went to MidValley to watch Mamma Mia! (note: my second time watching) with the birthday girl’s two friends and then bowling. There was some drama at the bowling centre because the guy next to us, brilliantly left his wallet on the table and some teenage boys stole it. ..and my cousin witnessed it but couldn’t remember the culprit accurately. When we saw the “suspects” - yes there were 5 in the ‘gang’ - they were hanging around outside the toilet and going back in. I’ve no idea what happened but the guy whose wallet was stolen already left. Such an unsafe place. So people, please don’t happily leave your belongings unwatched or just keep them to yourself.
Anyways, on a lighter note, I have to point out that since it’s holidays, it means (trial) exams are over! “So, how was it?” Okay I guess, because I can’t remember what came out anymore. See, 7 AM 3-hour long papers makes you sleepy towards the end of it. The 3 papers that were that early in the morning, I yawned non-stop in the last hour. Sleeping at 1 and waking up at 5.30 = insufficient sleep. And so by the time, I walk out from the hall, I’ve forgotten the contents of the +-30 pages I just went through. But it was.. quite fun walking in the dark to college when the moon is still up and almost everywhere’s quiet. At least I managed to wake up and not be late! There was always the possibility of oversleeping - very tempting because I almost never wake up when the sun’s not out.
After the last paper which was Spec Maths, we (classmates) went to One Utama to.. watch Mamma Mia! Frankly, I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the movie what with being sleepy to the extent of almost falling asleep while eating lunch. And the fact that it’s a musical! Sorry, but I’m not a fan of musicals. But - okay I know, too many ‘but’s, but I can’t help it - I didn’t fall asleep and I actually liked the show! It was just funny seeing people singing to familiar oldies and dancing to them. It was just weird to watch ex-Bond sing (I don’t think he can) and dance. Too strange. Oh and the fact that the songs were like never-ending was quite annoying at some parts. They should have just, taken at least 5 minute-breaks. But, clearly I didn’t mind watching it a second time. It’s light entertainment what! Plus, there didn’t seem to be any other movie that sounded interesting enough.
Wee, I like the holidays but it’s already TUESDAY! I only have.. less than a week. I wanted to get my driving lessons started but then it’s Raya break so no-go. I plan to be “creative” this week, if, that’s even possible. I started off slow with a card for my cousin. I really miss making things. Thinking about these craft stuff makes me think of Christine who absolutely loves scrapbooking and is VERY GOOD in it. Hello you, if you happen to read this! See you soon! Anyways, and then there’s the folio I plan to complete by the end of the week and submit it so that the uni applications can get processed. I’ve no idea what I’m going to do to suddenly come up with 10-15 art pieces. Maybe I’ll go and buy a drawing block and start drawing… after 5 years of not doing so properly. Or maybe, I’ll just make a new layout for this site and add it in! Did you know, that this layout has been up for more than a year? I NEVER do that! But, I’m not sick of it neither, surprisingly. It’s probably because I only update about average once a month. Terrible. And very far-off from few years ago when I was doing website stuff everyday. Oh well, things change.
I really wonder, if I should keep this site going too. Is anyone out there visiting? I feel like I’m wasting Rilla’s space here. Hmm…
Enjoy your holidays everyone! Everyone seems to be on holidays now. People here, in Brunei, in Australia…
