Countdown
I’m leaving in a little more than 12 hours. Some of my (*cough* persistent) friends are going to send me off, though there’s really no need to! I AM coming back next year.. in a few months!
But yes, the thought of college sounds a little daunting for now. Like I’ve said before, it’s a new beginning. Right now, I’m not looking forward to it.
Right now actually, I should have done certain things. Like finished packing.. or at least copied the files from the computer into the very-limited-space pendrive but no.. And then there’s something I wanted to make. So maybe, I’ll wake up.. in hours’ time and do it all. *crosses fingers* I’ve procrastinated way too much. At least, the clothes are all packed up - it’s a lot but there’s also almost the same number of pile(s) which I’m not bringing. It’s all the .. other things.. like said earlier, the files in the computer - if I don’t take my web files back, I guess I’ll have to download them from my own account.. but I still want to take the photos back to develop them; if only I had an external hard disk -, gifts from friends, books.. what not. This is by far, my worst experience packing. And I hope it doesn’t ever get worse than this. (But then again, I pushed it till the last minute so.. who’s to blame..)
Anyways, I had a farewell/birthday party (or gathering) on Saturday night. It was tiring, but really fun and memorable. What we did: bake cookies, board games, mahjong session, cards, talk talk talk, eat, use the computer, karaoke, cake-smearing.. It was just great overall. Thank you, Rita, Jay, Steven, Jess, Anand, Esther, Jun Jie, Gary, Victor, JW, WanLu and Sophia (I can’t believe you did the cake-cutting and serving =p).
I’m not sure whether the Internet connection’s alright back in KL, but I’ll try to blog when it’s fine. Oh and thanks to Chien Yee for the wishes - all the best to you too! To everyone else who commented, I’m rushing off to sleep now (it’s already 12 hours less till my flight) so thanks for the comments still.
