Work-less
I have no work to do! Well, at least none that’s due tomorrow. =D Surprise, surprise. And happiness too! Wahaha. I was out pretty much the whole day and I’ve been spending my time in front of the PC when I’m in. I just successfully installed Windows Media Player 11 and I’m super duper happy! It’s got one sleek look and style. And it’s got some feature where you can put album art for each song. I was very free and sakai too and so was busy putting them in.
School today was, dull. Well these past few days haven’t exactly been in interesting during school hours. Tuesday afternoon, I had netball training and halfway it started thundering and raining. Then, yesterday I .. after much thinking (and indecisiveness which probably annoyed my dear friends whom I kept asking what I should go for and yet not decide), went for sports tryout/selections. Interestingly, I didn’t feel tired nor exhausted - same thing today even though I played badminton and had Chem pracs and stayed back for netball meeting. It just proves that when you enjoy something, you won’t be tired. XD BUT, you do feel tired after that.
Tomorrow, MD Open for seniors. I’m excited! And, worried at the same time - I HOPE I can shoot in goals tomorrow. Speaking of which, I just heard (read) about the massacre (yes, slow I know) - gives me the creeps. It’s so sad. Reading about it kept ringing the thought that life is fragile - you’ll never know what’s going to happen the next day, hour, minute or even next second. Anything can happen. But then again, we just don’t seem to know how to appreciate things do we. We take time for granted and keep pushing things to a ‘next time’.
Doesn’t it always happen? We know we should, but we don’t? We know we should be more appreciative, but we don’t actually improve much? Even if we do, it could only be at that time when we’re reminded and after that, the thought slips away. We know life is fragile - but look at how much time we waste, hovering over the past and the bad.
Okay.. I don’t know why I typed that out; I don’t quite get what I’m saying anymore. Anyhoos, off to TV now.
Before that, a birthday shoutout to Amelia.
Happy Advanced 16th Birthday, Amelia!
I couldn’t install WMP because my computer had been reformatted many times and so i gave up and used WinAmp instead hehe =)
